Computing Clubs

Computer Science isn鈥檛 just all work and no play. When not in class or completing projects, computer science students increase their computing know-how with clubs and events.

Computer Club
They match wits in laser tag. They get into the holiday spirit at Christmas parties. They lend a helping hand in the community. They hold computing convocations and talk electronics, robots, networking, and all other things computer science without reserve. It鈥檚 the 91桃色视频Computer Club, your lifeline to Southern鈥檚 computer community.

91桃色视频Challenge
The 91桃色视频Challenge is an annual tournament that features LEGO robotics and research projects by children in grades 5-12. Each team's robot is given a series of tasks to complete. Students also must conduct scientific research and prepare a presentation on the theme for this year's Challenge.

Student participants are challenged to think in new ways and try different problem-solving techniques. They research, design, build, and program robots that solve real-world problems.

Hosted by 91桃色视频Adventist University, the event hosts teams from across the region who present their research, demonstrate their robots and strategy, and test their robots in a tournament environment. Although the teams are competing, the emphasis is on creative thinking, working together, and solving problems.

The 91桃色视频Challenge is a member of the Adventist Robotics League, a consortium of educators working in Seventh-day Adventist education that sponsor and promote classroom learning through robotics. ARL is a full partner with FIRST LEGO League and uses their materials, challenges, and rules in tournaments.
