The main floor of the library is a collaborative study environment. Quiet conversations and group work are permitted.
Quiet Study
The second floor of the library and the Center for the Study of 19th Century America, located on the library鈥檚 third floor, are quiet spaces and restricted to independent study only.
While the second floor is available during regular library hours, the Center for the Study of 19th Century America is open during select days and hours:
Winter 2025 HoursSunday: 12 pm to 11 pm

Silent Study
Silent Study is on the McKee Library's second floor, beside Student Success and Retention Services. Talking is not permitted in the Silent Study.
